Justin Whitten brings more than a decade of experience in law enforcement, tactical operations, and emergency medicine to the classroom. Beginning his career as a Firefighter/EMT, he developed a strong foundation in prehospital emergency care before transitioning into law enforcement, where he specialized in tactical medicine and the integration of medical care into high-risk operations.
As a Federal Tactical Medical Instructor, Justin has instructed personnel from law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and other first responder organizations in tactical emergency casualty care, hemorrhage control, medical response under threat, and mission-focused casualty management. His instruction emphasizes practical application, scenario-based learning, and proven techniques that can be immediately implemented in the field.
Justin's teaching philosophy centers on preparing responders to perform under pressure through realistic, hands-on training built on current best practices and operational experience. Whether teaching patrol officers, firefighters, EMS providers, or tactical teams, his mission is to improve survivability, increase confidence, and ensure students leave with skills they can rely on when lives are on the line.
